Meet the Challenge12 Team...
Adam McDonald JnrBorn and raised in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. moved up to Auckland and completed a degree in Physiotherapy and currently a post graduate student in public health
policy. Traveled to the UK in 2011 where he worked as a physiotherapist for 2 years. In that time ran the Paris marathon raising money for a charity that had been established by a friend back in New Zealand. Also meet Andy Connolly in that time and was very interested in what he was doing and felt as though he wanted to be a part of the cause. Adam now moved back to his homeland and looking forward to Challenge12 NZ |
Andy ConnollyAndy was born in Belfast Northern Ireland but moved over to Wales at the awkward age of 15. He studied undergraduate and postgraduate philosophy. After several years of questioning the meaning of life he now works in a small educational charity in London.
Andy started Challenge12 in 2012 with his friend Paul and has to date completed all challenges. |
Ali HartleyAli comes from Ipswich, Suffolk and over the last 5 years has spent her time between her home town and London. After graduating with a degree in Dance, she began to seek work within the Arts that engaged the community, encouraging them to move and think differently about the world we live in.
Since being involved in events, Ali joined Challenge12 in 2012 to support our 2013 aim of encouraging members of the public to take on new challenges and support causes that help others. |
Nicky JaggarNicky is Yorkshire born 'n' bred and after gaining a degree in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham, this bonkers dance enthusiast moved down South to begin her career in event management. She currently works in banqueting and events in Berkshire. Nicky joined forces with Challenge12 in late 2012 and can't wait to take on as many challenges as possible this year, alongside her recreational activities in the performing arts.

Alice TanswellAlice was born in North Wales and grew up in Chester before moving down south to study for a degree in Film Studies from the University of Kent. Currently working as a Web Content Assistant and a freelance photographer, Alice started working with Challenge12 late 2012 as their Head of Media and will be documenting the Challenges throughout the year and hopefully taking on a few of them too!

Vicky FrayardVicky is a freelance Dance Artist and Project Manager based in London and south east England. She graduated from Roehampton University with a BA Hons Dance in 2011 but began her career back in 2007 when she founded the all male Offside Dance Company in West Sussex. Since then, Vicky has been Co-Director and Performer in Third Row Dance Company, working with Jack Webb, Rachel Birch-Lawson and Renaud Wiser.
Vicky is currently Dance Facilitator for Change4Life Kingston, London Broncos RL Foundation and Hampshire Dance in a variety of community and formal education settings, leading classes in contemporary, street, hip hop, creative dance and Zumba. Vicky was also lucky enough to be part of the dance cast in the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony |
